On Thursday night I went to the Lantern Parade at some of my grandchildren’s preschool. Each child had made a lantern from a tin can with a tealight candle in it, and attached to a stick by wire. After the lanterns were lit we all walked down to some grass by the railway station and sung some songs. Afterwards we walked back to the preschool and had soup and milo.
